I don’t want any karma for this, but here is a local [source confirming the secret proposal tomorrow](http://www.southcoasttoday.com/news/20170612/mass-house-to-unveil-marijuana-bill-wednesday).
As voters, we were presented with the full text of the law in 2016 [when we passed the referendum by a wide margin](https://ballotpedia.org/Massachusetts_Marijuana_Legalization,_Question_4_(2016); there is a rising tide of anticipatory dread that large scale market forces have engaged in regulatory capture to manipulate the law.
For those unaware;
>Regulatory capture is a form of government failure that occurs when a regulatory agency, created to act in the public interest, instead advances the commercial or political concerns of special interest groups that dominate the industry or sector it is charged with regulating.
I’m not really even sure that anything can be done at this point, but watching cannabis related democracy die, even in 2017, brings a tear to my eye :(.
Edit: Someone suggested below that it would be useful, if you live in the state of Massachusetts, to directly contact your Representative or Senator in order to let them know about your feelings on tomorrow’s proposed changes to the voter approved law.
Here is a link that will help you find your Rep or Senator- https://malegislature.gov/Search/FindMyLegislator
It seems that the Senator in charge of re-writing the law is Patricia Jalen- https://malegislature.gov/Legislators/Profile/PDJ0
The Representative in charge of re-writing the law is Mark J. Cusack- https://malegislature.gov/Legislators/Profile/MJC1
